Enerji Okuryazarlığı

Raising awareness of primary school students on energy efficiency and safe electricity; 

Informing and guiding households and SMEs, the lifeblood of the economy, on the efficient use of electricity, thus contributing to the economy and the efficient use of energy resources;  

Measuring and reporting awareness about Enerji Okuryazarlığı and the reflection of activities on consumption.

Project Results 

• Signing a protocol with Istanbul Provincial Directorate of National Education and Governorship  
• Training of trainers for 2,500 teachers on the European Side of Istanbul  
• Preparing 'Being an Electricity Consumer in 45 Questions' guide booklet with the contributions of consumer associations  
• Preparing a coloring book for students that draws attention to the efficient use of energy  
• Launching Consumption Calculation Module on the website and the Transparent Bill application to enable customers to understand their invoice items more easily  
• Reaching approximately 35,000 students by providing trainings to 1,000 primary school teachers within the scope of the protocol signed with Bayrampaşa District Governorship on the European side of Istanbul  
• Savings trainings for students during Energy Saving Week
